NEWSFLASH
Keep it Local, Keep it Warwickshire! Slow Food Warwickshire publishes a Plan for Warwickshire - a return to local production, varieties and breeds where producers and consumers can enjoy the right to good food, fair prices and fair wages to producer and consumer alike.
In the heart of England, Slow Food Warwickshire works to raise the profile of Warwickshire foods and flavours and celebrate the diversity and traditions of local foods and ingredients and help pass these on to another generation with a programme of monthly events.
We enlist local food enthusiasts and food producers to share their practical knowledge and food traditions of Warwickshire to help preserve our food heritage through local food dinners, monthly demonstrations, Slow Food Markets and Meet The Producer Days.
Slow Food Warwickshire plan to raise the profile of native species like the Warwickshire Drooper plum and introduce a lifeline cultivation plan amongst schools and villages as our first Ark of Taste Project, so called after Noah’s Ark.
We welcome nominations for Warwickshire products, producers, varieties and recipes to become part of our forthcoming Slow Food Warwickshire website where members can participate in chat, share their recipes and food experiences and help organise local food events to promote fresh local food traditionally made in Warwickshire and surrounding counties.

Hi! Please to add me to your mailing list. I have been attending the Cotswolds’ convivium, but would be much handier to join your group. Thanks, Claire.
